Kaiju Poetry - Battra

You sicken me more than the carcass of a dead beast
My raging retribution blazes like the fires of Earth's core.
Upon the expanse of this reality you are nothing but a gaping sore
Living from the planet, a spherical feast.

From the ocean depths I emerge,
Years of waiting, centuries of unrelenting rest;
All it takes is the greed of one man to make me remember
The hateful fury burning within my barbaric chest
At the one who's soul is as frigid as a barren December.

No, you can't run away from me, or hide
You can't live underground or even fly
No matter where you flee, I will find you
I will search the cosmos until you die.

Humanity is a virus infecting life's purity
A disgusting parasite thriving from the energy of another
Like an irrefutable worm
Death follows you, wherever you may squirm.

I am Gaia's Herald,
I am Fate's frozen fire
You threaten my world,
Your destruction is my desire.

"Protect the world, destroy the infestation," is my mantra.
No matter where you go,
You're always in my shadow
I am Gaia's Devil,
I live for the vengeful battle.

Listen closely, hear those ancient voices
"Fear, Fear the relentless Black Mothra!"
Revel and cower at the sound of my name
On the wings of revenge I ride,
