On an obsidian ship,
Forgotten on the sanguine swell
I stand upon a perilous plank
Extending over a molten sea---
I look up, at the claw-hooked mast
And see the outline of a burning tree.

This is a poem I wrote today in English and at Lunch. I felt somewhat inspired by a couple of Emily Dickenson poems, and a lot of situations with my friends inspired me to write it.
I hope you like it. I know it's short but it's full of a lot of imagery and meaning. I'll let you all interpret it for yourselves.
